The No Child Left Behind act needs some changes if it is going to work well for Wyoming and other rural states, state Superintendent of Public Instruction Jim McBride told U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi in a recent letter, where he proposed solutions to some problems with the 2001 landmark education law.

The University of Indianapolis and Associate Professor Jerry Flatto received a 2007 Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Education from Microsoft. In Flatto’s information systems management course, students enter fictional data into Microsoft’s Dynamics GP software to construct a virtual company and learn basic business concepts.
