MONTGOMERY - The education budget Gov. Bob Riley proposed Tuesday for the year starting Oct. 1 would spend $6.636 billion from the Education Trust Fund, an increase of $394 million, or 6.3 percent, from this year’s expected spending of $6.242 billion.
